This bid has the financial support of the French bank, Société Générale The planned line will be 710 kms long. The double-deck trains which will provide nine daily services （with more than 500 passengers per train） will reach a maximum speed of 320km/h. This line will have an important social and economic effect in Argentina as it will drastically reduce the journey times for this major transport route: Buenos Aires-Rosario will take 85 minutes and Rosario-Cordoba, 90 minutes. For the past eight months, the consortium has already had 150 engineers working on the project （60% in Europe and 40% in Argentina）. This project will cost between five and eight times less than it would have done in a European country for a high speed line because the planned route crosses only flat and stable terrain.
