This 370 MW plant will be an extension of the existing combined cycle power plant located at Utran, Surat District, State of Gujarat, India. Under the contract, Alstom will provide all engineering, procurement and construction services to deliver a fully integrated combined cycle power plant, with heat recovery steam generator, gas turbine and generator, steam turbine and generator, and DCS （Distributed Control System）. The power plant will be built around Alstom‘s world-leading GT26 gas turbine technology, which, in combined cycle, is the most efficient gas turbine technology on the market with the highest overall plant efficiency in its class.
